Best Candidates for Dentures
You may be an ideal candidate for dentures if you have suffered the loss of many teeth, but you still have healthy gums and a strong jawbone. You may still have some natural teeth, which can to either be extracted for a full denture or kept intact for a partial denture. During your consultation, a member of the MINT dentistry team will examine your mouth and teeth and discuss your options based on your needs and budget. I’ve been researching dental implants for over 10 months. Spoke and met with many, with total disappointment! With “surprise” additional charges! I have to say that Dr Ellis and his staff are true professionals. From my initial phone call with Ms.Taylor to discussing the procedure, the no nonsense all inclusive pricing, and the process details with Dr Ellis, I experienced their dedication and attention to my concerns first hand. Can’t wait to get my new smile in a few weeks. 👍 10/27 UPDATEi I had my procedure done today! All teeth (upper) removed and had 5 implants and temp dentures installed while the gums heal! I had serious issues about going under and especially the “after pain” during the recovery process (I had read horror stories). This was the easiest and less painful dental experience ever. The staff was there with me throughout the procedure! After, had some minor swelling and discomfort for about an hour and a half. Picked up their prescription painkillers at CVS and to my surprise, No pain after that, I mean zero pain at all? I was waiting for the brutal pain to hit, and nothing. All my pain concerns were for nothing. These folks deserve 10 stars 👍👍

At MINT dentistry, every procedure will begin with you settling comfortably into one of our luxurious treatment chairs in one of our well-appointed procedure rooms. You will be offered a pair of Beats headphones so you can listen to music or watch a show on one of our flat-screen televisions. After sliding on a pair of our MINT dentistry sunglasses, your procedure will begin. If needed, a member of our team may extract teeth before taking oral impressions that will be used to make your custom dentures. Partial dentures will be shaded to match your natural teeth for a seamless appearance. Once your dentures are crafted, they will be inserted and adjusted so they are comfortable, secure, and look natural in your mouth. Our team will also go over the best way to care for your new dentures.
Treatment Aftercare
It may take some time before your new dentures feel comfortable and natural, but eventually, it should be easier to eat and speak normally. If your dentures feel loose, speak with a member of the MINT dentistry team and schedule an appointment to have your dentures adjusted. At home, you will need to keep your dentures clean by brushing them twice a day. When you remove your dentures, they should be soaked so they don't dry out. Continue to schedule exams and cleanings at our office so a member of our team can monitor the wear and fit of your dentures as well as the health of your jaw and gums. Our team will let you know if you need to have your dentures repaired or replaced but with proper care, your dentures should last for many years.
