I’ve been a patient at MINT Dentistry Waxahachie since February 2026, and from Nettie and Brenda, to Dulce, Monique, Ally, Robin, and the rest of the staff (forgive me for not calling you all out by name), I’ve had experiences that have made me proud to be both a patient of this practice and a customer doing business with them.I’ve undergone several procedures myself, primarily working with Dr. Thao (forgive me if I’ve misspelled her name, lol), and recently began bringing my 86-year-old father here for his dental care. In fact, the way this team has cared for my father is what inspired me to write this review in real time.My father had never been to a dentist before coming to MINT, and throughout each of his visits, he’s been treated not only with respect but with a level of tenderness and patience that I believe is rare in healthcare, particularly in dental settings. I don’t have children, so I can’t say whether they approach him with the same gentleness they extend to younger patients (lol), but they manage to balance that tenderness with the dignity, directness, and respect he deserves as an adult.That alone has made me even more confident and comfortable with entrusting this practice with our care.I also want to emphasize that I pay for both my father’s dental services and my own entirely out of pocket. I’m not using insurance copays or FSA/HSA funds. These expenses come directly from my personal budget and represent my hard-earned money. I mention this because the quality, effectiveness, and consistency of the care we receive genuinely matter to me. When I’m making this level of financial investment, I want to know that the people providing our care are equally invested in our well-being.And Dr. Nguyen! What can I say about this man?I’ve had the pleasure of working with him directly for one of my own procedures, but he has primarily been my father’s dentist, and I cannot say enough good things about him. From the way he carries himself professionally to the way he interacts with his patients, his patience, attentiveness, and extraordinary attention to detail in communicating treatment and care have been remarkable.Watching how Dr. Nguyen treats my father is ultimately what moved me to write this review. His approach is consistently gentle, thoughtful, thorough, and respectful. He doesn’t simply perform a service; he demonstrates genuine care for the person receiving it. As someone responsible for helping my elderly father navigate his healthcare needs, that distinction means more to me than I can adequately express.I’ll also be transparent: I’ve had a few experiences that made me question whether I wanted to continue bringing my family to this office. However, the consistency and quality of care Dr. Nguyen has demonstrated have made the thought of leaving this practice much more difficult.That’s certainly not to suggest that the other doctors here aren’t skilled, compassionate, or deserving of recognition. I’ve had positive experiences with other providers as well. But Dr. Nguyen’s particular combination of professionalism, gentleness, thorough communication, and genuine consideration for my father has been unmatched in our experience. Granted, I might be a little biased since he’s the only dentist who’s treated my dad here, but I think I’ve earned that right! Lol.To the entire team (everyone named, and those unnamed), thank you for the work you do and for the care you’ve extended to my family. And to Dr. Nguyen specifically, thank you for treating my father with the dignity, patience, and compassion he deserves. It has not gone unnoticed, and it is deeply appreciated. More

I really had a great experience here. They didn’t make me feel ashamed of my teeth or that I haven’t seen a dentist in 3 years. I went for the discount plan and I’m really glad I did because I don’t have any dental insurance. It’s very affordable. The staff are all very kind. The front desk lady (forgot her name!) was great. I had Cordell as my hygienist and he made me feel so taken care of and relaxed for my deep cleaning. And dr. Nguyen was quick and attentive. I actually scheduled a cleaning with them in 4 months and excited about caring for my teeth better. Thank you Mint dentistry! More

It was great from start to finish. I only had to wait for about 2 minutes before they called me back for my regular exam and cleaning. Savannah was great and cleaned and polished my teeth like a pro. I got to relax in a massage chair while I was getting my cleaning and I was able to listen to the music of my choice. The dentist came in and complemented my teeth hygiene and I got some free whitening gel for the road. I look forward to coming back in 6 months. More

Ive had a lot of work done to my teeth at this location and every time it’s been a good experience. Soon as you walk in the door you’re greeted with smiles and good vibes. I went in with a swollen face and REAL pain.When I went into the dental room Monique remembered my name. You don't see that too much anymore. Dr Nguyen, also remembered me and quickly saw the problem. Pulled two teeth and the problem is solved. I only use Dr. Nguyen specifically and always want Monique when available. I give the staff a Mint Denistry Waxahachie a 10. I give the doctor a zero. I scheduled an appointment about three weeks ago to find out why my tooth was discolored and was told that's how teeth are supposed to be. I went to my six month appointment today, three weeks later, and was told I have a hole in my tooth that had unfortunately gathered food in it, had turned into a cavity and I need a filling. This is so disappointing because I could've gotten the problem corrected when I arrived had an evaluation been done three weeks ago. Now my tooth is even more discolored and I have to pay $122 to get it corrected. I have no choice but to get it corrected, I'm upset that this was not recognized on my first visit when I had concerns about the discolored tooth. Now I have to wait another week to get it fixed because that’s the next available time. I take pride in my teeth and to know that I have to walk around a month with a discolored tooth that I noticed three weeks ago is so frustrating. I will be finding another dentist. More

VERY pleasant experience! I went in for a regular routine cleaning and everyone there was super nice. They made sure I was comfortable! The women (I apologize I forgot her name) was very gentle with my teeth. The cleaning went really smooth and I was happy with the results. Everything is very clean too! Absolutely fabulous service received today. I took my daughter here because previously we had gone to Jefferson Dental (of all places, I know) and it was HORRIBLE. Not only were the staff better equipped here, the Dr. and her staff were all A1. They were top tier and made sure my daughter was comfortable throughout the whole service. Everyone from the receptionist, the dental assistant's, the dental hygienist and the Dr. along with her assistant... I couldn't be more impressed!
