Mint Dentistry Heights was a breath of fresh air. I had only been to Mint East Houston for years. I dreaded each interaction not limited to but including the dentist had poor bedside manner. I felt uncomfortable and unwelcomed. I had been contemplating changing dental companies when I decided to give Mint Heights a chance.From the initial phone call to set up the appointment I felt confident. When I arrived Whitney was kind, professional and just a remarkable person. The ambiance is so peaceful and serene. I was greeted and felt respected upon first contact. Fernanda at the front desk is also a jewel.Next I met Juanita the dental assistant. She is so vested in her work and it shows as she completed my x-rays. Erika the hygienist is such a sweet soul. She showed the upmost skill in performing periodontal maintenance on my teeth. I felt no discomfort or grit on my teeth.I finally met Dr Houston (the man of the hour). It was such a pleasure. He made sure I was comfortable. I did not feel any drilling as usual..He had a wonderful disposition. I found a dentist who I could trust for the first time. He filled my cavities and was so gentle. He reiterated that I had wisdom teeth that need to be removed. Because I felt so confident I agreed and scheduled the appointment. I had been afraid to get my wisdom teeth removed due to lack of compassion/empathy and a disconnect with my previous provider.Whoever put this team together at Mint Dentistry Heights has a keen eye. The chemistry of this staff is exemplary. I have finally found my dental home. Thanks Mint.. 😘 More

Dr. Young and Dental assistant Hadel are the best and made me feel at home. I got a tooth extraction and when I say I couldn't feel a thing during the surgery thanks to them. They made every moment special for me. More

For years , I avoided dental work out of fear - particularly extractions. But from the moment I stepped into Mint Dentistry on Shepherd everything changed.The front office staff was incredibly understanding and supportive. They could tell I was anxious and went out of their way to comfort me. One even joked “If you start screaming , I’ll come check on you”, which made me instantly laugh and eased my nerves.Then came Dr.Young - Bryant. She is , without a doubt, the best dentist in Houston. She performed two extractions for me, and I felt absolutely no pain - during or after the procedure. Her technique was quick, precise, and incredibly gentle. She took the time to explain everything and made sure I felt comfortable every step of the way.A few months prior, she also did some fillings for me-again, zero pain. Her calm demeanor and skillful work have completely changed my perspective on dental visits.I cannot recommend Dr.Young-Bryant and team at Mint Dentistry on Shepherd enough. They’re compassionate , professional and truly exceptional. More

MINT Dentistry in the Heights demonstrated EXCELLENCE! My college daughter had wisdom teeth pulled in San Antonio, but was in Houston and in great pain. Even though she wasn't a regular patient, the office manager Patricia was so wonderful! They quickly got her a same day appointment, x-rays, the team provide excellent care, finding three infected areas and provided medicine. PLUS, Patricia promptly scheduled a follow-up teeth cleaning, where again, the team was very nice and did great work. Talk about spectacular customer service! I use both dental and ortho services and also am very pleased. Highly recommend!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ More

Trying to give an objective review of this location. 1.)I chose this location instead of little York because it was either choose an acres homes dentist or the heights dentist. Yes I profiled my dentist! However the outside of the heights building looked bare and unwelcoming i almost thought they were still under construction and turned around so I give one star for appearance. 2.)I pay out of pocket and I have noticed the level of customer service not just here but for many dental offices for self pay people like me is NOT bad BUT not as accomidating as they could be. For example i prepaid thousands of dollars in cash for my operations but when I arrived the lady asked me for payment, she did not make an issue of it when I told her to check again. It can be embarrassing to be publicly asked do you have insurance? NO? OK 650 PLEASE!!!!! I'm like uhhhhh I been Paid that! I am willing to bet that I will be asked the samething for my next two prepaid operations but I say that is more of dentist culture than a characteristic of this office so I give a 3 for customer service. 3). I am a full time masters student with a part time internship and part time regular job. So for me not having insurance price is a HUGE deal. I believe that in every medical field prices should be displayed visibly for all patients! Therefore I will publicly post the cost of my 3 operations. For anyone paying out of pocket expect to pay about 3800 for 3 wisdom extractions, one root canal + crown and a deep cleaning plus 50 for nitrous oxide. All dentist are expensive idk why they are all so embarrassed to display pricing but I take enjoyment in displaying it for them. This location did have a price plan for certain procedures which is extremely helpful for people like me!! So while that price is outrageous I give 4 stars for being somewhat transparent! 4.) Finally and most importantly for me and probably most people the dentist that did the operation was superb!! I mean absolutely amazing! I have literally been two 3 dentist office over a 4 month span rescheduling over and over and over and over because I was afraid to get it done. This dentist understood how afraid I was of the pain and took great care of me. I actually did not want her to stop operating on me, it was actually a pleasing experience for me kinda like how lady's go to the nail shop! My major concern was the healing process and she prescribed me very good pain Killers and I have had no pain or discomfort since I left the office. IM currently on day 3 of healing from having 3 wisdom teeth extracted. I had a horrible experience with Jefferson dental that took my 4th wisdom tooth. HORRIBLE!!!!!!!! I am satisfied to say that I am no longer afraid of the dentist because of my experience here and for that I give 5 stars if I could I would give 10! I am eternally grateful for my dentist and I will continue to choose this location as long as I live I. HOUSTON More

Just had 3 wisdom tooth extracted, and at first, I was scared! When I had my first one extracted at another dentist office 2 years ago, I remembered how horrible of an experience I had. This time around I decided to do all of them at the same time to get it over with, and surprisingly it was so easy! Dr. Tan kept talking to me throughout the whole process and made me feel comfortable! I absolutely love this place! More
