The entire point of my review is to bring Whitney to the FRONT! Today’s visit ended up racking up quite the bill for me, which I was unprepared for. Whitney came to explain my treatment plan to me and before she could even get through it, I began telling her what I wasn’t going to pay for. She remained patient and kind. I immediately apologized and she was just so understanding. She helped me look at other options that could make paying easier for me. She set me up to come back at a better time. Customer service is HARD, especially when people (like me today, unfortunately) don’t give you the best attitude. Thank you Whitney for your CALM. I needed it today and you shared it with me. I’m so grateful to have found Nu Dentistry. I started as an emergency dental work customer but now I plan on staying a customer. It started at the front with Bailey who greets me by name every time I come. Her personality is very welcoming (Monica is awesome too. The dentist is amazing as well she is very gentle. I decided to go against her wishes for numbing and she went above and beyond making sure I was comfortable as to not scare my child and make her scared of the dentist. I could go on and on about everything they do right but this post would way too long. Thank you all for everything you have done and continue to do! More

Mint Dentistry Heights was a breath of fresh air. I had only been to Mint East Houston for years. I dreaded each interaction not limited to but including the dentist had poor bedside manner. I felt uncomfortable and unwelcomed. I had been contemplating changing dental companies when I decided to give Mint Heights a chance.From the initial phone call to set up the appointment I felt confident. When I arrived Whitney was kind, professional and just a remarkable person. The ambiance is so peaceful and serene. I was greeted and felt respected upon first contact. Fernanda at the front desk is also a jewel.Next I met Juanita the dental assistant. She is so vested in her work and it shows as she completed my x-rays. Erika the hygienist is such a sweet soul. She showed the upmost skill in performing periodontal maintenance on my teeth. I felt no discomfort or grit on my teeth.I finally met Dr Houston (the man of the hour). It was such a pleasure. He made sure I was comfortable. I did not feel any drilling as usual..He had a wonderful disposition. I found a dentist who I could trust for the first time. He filled my cavities and was so gentle. He reiterated that I had wisdom teeth that need to be removed. Because I felt so confident I agreed and scheduled the appointment. I had been afraid to get my wisdom teeth removed due to lack of compassion/empathy and a disconnect with my previous provider.Whoever put this team together at Mint Dentistry Heights has a keen eye. This is an honest review and reflection on how this particular Mint Dentistry office really values their customers. All staff were excellent, Whitney, Dr. Houston, Katrina, Jasmin, and the office manager Fernanda, were very personable and easy going and easy to speak to. We were in for our yearly cleaning and check ups and of course some unexpected issues popped up with our teeth. The office manager handled our problems with us and we know they were sincere in making sure we take care of our dental work. The payment plans were reasonable and something that can be flexible with as well.. The best cleaning I’ve had in a long time and gives me hope and confidence to come back for it was shaken just a tad bit on my last couple of visits. New staff are here now but just as friendly. This lets me know that they are serious in their hiring process. I highly recommend trying out Mint. They are still helping with the teeth whitening as well… Come get your teeth checked out at Mint Dentistry!!! More

However, Whitney and the other young lady at the front desk were incredibly professional and patient as I tried to collect myself during this "no good, very bad day."While waiting, I noticed a rude customer being difficult, yet the young ladies at the front desk remained calm and professional throughout. First time patient. Called to book an appointment and they took me same day. Giovanni greeted me at the front desk with a very upbeat attitude. Paperwork and X-rays went very smooth. I had to get a deep cleaning which requires two visits. First visit was a little rough with many numbing shots and had to hold the suction through my whole cleaning. Second visit was 5 stars. Greeted again by Giovanni, shared my experience with the tech who set me up in the room. Another dentist came in and was much gentler with the shots. Ashley did my cleaning and made sure I sat back and relaxed. Ashley also provided recommendations to help with my sensitive gums.
