Invisalign Teeth Straightening Reviews
"I came in to get my Invisalign attachments removed, a cleaning, and whitening before my wedding. The staff at Mint is super friendly and helpful. They explained everything to me from the procedure to billing so there were no surprises. The office is beautifully decorated and very clean! The massage chair is so relaxing and the TVs with music and Netflix are super nice! I will definitely come back again."- M.G. / Google / Mar 17, 2018
"Very easy process. They are great. The hygienist were very quick and knowledgeable. Dr. Moreno was very kind, fast and told me exactly how to care for my teeth with Invisalign and whitening. AND a free at home teeth whitening kit with PPO insurance. Definitely will be back and recommend. Bringing my BF here as a cash pay patient next week!"- S.A. / Google / Dec 20, 2018
There are many factors that can determine how straight your teeth are: genetics, thumb sucking as a child, the loss of a tooth or teeth, and a traumatic accident to the face. The misalignment of your teeth can lead to other oral health problems, including dental malocclusion (a bad bite), abnormal enamel wear, trouble speaking and chewing, as well as toothaches and jaw pain. If a member of our MINT dentistry team notices any of these problems during your dental exam, we may recommend an orthodontic treatment, like Invisalign®.
Invisalign® is great for both adults and teens who want straighter teeth without the pain, hassle, and appearance of traditional metal braces. While they do need to be worn most of the time, Invisalign® can be taken out for eating and brushing your teeth, as well as for special events and playing sports. Far more discreet than metal braces that can cut and poke the inside of the mouth, other people will usually not be able to tell that you are wearing your Invisalign® tray.
What to Expect
Your first set of Invisalign® trays will be created using digital impressions taken at MINT dentistry. You will return to collect your first sets of aligners and receive specific care instructions from one of our skilled doctors. You will need to wear your aligners at least 20 – 22 hours each day for the system to be effective, ideally removing them only for eating and clean. Over time, you will move to the next set of aligners as they gently move your teeth into their proper position. You will need to schedule follow-up appointments every 4 – 6 weeks to have the fit of your aligners checked and to have more digital impressions taken so new sets of aligners can be made. The length of time that you will use Invisalign® will vary based on the original position of your teeth and your cosmetic goals, but most patients wear aligners for about one year.
Once you have reached your Invisalign® goals, it's important to keep your teeth from moving back to their old position. Invisalign® Vivera® retainers are designed with the same comfortable materials as the aligner trays to help keep your teeth in place after your treatment is complete. Each retainer is custom made at the Invisalign® dental laboratory based on digital impressions taken once your treatment is complete. A member of the MINT dentistry team will speak with you about how often to wear your retainer and how to care for it once it is sent back to our facility from the Invisalign® dental lab. Our team will continue to monitor your teeth alignment and bite at your annual dental exams to ensure your teeth remain in the correct position.
The MINT Commitment
In many cases, at least part of the cost your Invisalign® treatment is covered by dental insurance. Our front office will confirm your benefits and calculate your personal costs. MINT dentistry accepts many different payment methods for both out-of-pocket costs and patients who don't have dental insurance. During your initial consultation, MINT dentistry’s support staff can go over your estimated costs and ways to make your treatment more affordable, including flexible payment plans and medical financing. It is important to keep in mind that a gorgeous smile is an invaluable asset. MINT dentistry is committed to helping you achieve this goal in an affordable fashion.
