"I’ve been a patient at Mint dentistry in New Orleans since I’ve moved here just over 6 months ago and needed extensive dental work done. To say I am satisfied as a client/patient wouldn’t do justice to their entire team and the experience I’ve had. From the receptionist being easy to communicate with and very prompt about making sure I get booked in as soon as I walk in the door and booking follow-up appointments before I leave after services. In addition I’ve dealt with two separate dentists and had the best care I’ve ever received. From a root canal, extraction, bridges, and crowns to a deep cleaning all the procedures have been done painlessly and also carefully explained to me as well, so I knew what to expect before they started. I am happy to say that this is the best experience with any dentist that I’ve ever had."

"I only came for an OL filling on tooth #3 and they did a fantastic job. I sent over my X-rays so we didn’t have to take an additional PA or bite wing X-RAYS. The filling feels great.My bite feel perfect. The dentist herself placed the filling with gives me a lot of confidence as I know during school they are required to place a lot of fillings. I plan on going back for a comprehensive exam to get another opinion on what fillings need to be completed."

"The support staff were all very friendly, professional, and kind. The hygienist expeditiously took care of my cleaning. I have revised this review from a 1 star to a 5 star after a subsequent visit yesterday and again today. The dentist yesterday and today were wonderful. So kind, helpful, knowledgeable, and skilled. They were not at all dismissive and really listened to my concerns. At the time of writing this review, there appear to be two associate dentists, and today's visit was with a dentist covering a shift. Both of these women were wonderful and completely changed my opinion of this practice. I don't recall the name of the first dentist I saw, he was the only male dentist there. This is my original review relating to my experience with him: I had explained to the dentist that I had a crown that kept detaching, usually every 6 months or so, due to grinding my teeth. I explained that I'd been to 3 different practices and seen 6 dentists over the last 4 years (he was the 7th dentist) to try and resolve this. The dentist advised me to replace the crown with a gold crown instead (over $2,000 to do this). I agreed to the service, and came in the next day for the new crown. The next day at my appointment, whilst sitting in the dentist's chair, I was told they had made a mistake and forgot to schedule the new crown, and I'd need to come back a few weeks later after their Christmas break. I asked they reattach my existing crown so I could enjoy Christmas and the New Year without that exposed tooth being super sensitive. During the install I heard him ask his assistant to mix some Vaseline in with the cement. I asked why we were doing this, and he said, "So it's easy to remove when I install the gold crown." I was very clear in my concern that compromising the cement might mean I lost the crown before I came back. I even used the word 'compromise.' I reiterated that this crown was prone to detaching. My concerns were brushed off in a dismissive and somewhat condescending way. He assured me it would be just fine, and I very much got the impression that he was annoyed I questioned his method. I have been very, very careful. I have avoided that side of my mouth completely whenever possible and even changed my diet to remove anything sticky or too crunchy. It didn't matter. Here I am just a few days later, and now 3 days before Christmas, and it detached while eating breakfast. This time it broke clean in half when it came off as I bit it without realizing. I have no idea if this damaged my other teeth, but it certainly means I have nothing to reattach until the replacement crown can be done. I hate to rate one star for the whole practice, as the support staff were great. So if you read this far, my review is aimed at the dentist, whom I will forever now know as the Grinch that stole my Christmas (dinner)...."

"In the words of "MY" quarterback (Dak Prescott) HERE WE GOOOOOOOOO!!!! Mint Dentistry at "THIS" location is AMAZING!!!! I was greeted by a staff of amazing ladies with GORGEOUS smiles! Sam checked me in and made sure to cover all paperwork associated with my visit. I waited for roughly 5 mins before images were taken by another young lady (so sorry I forgot to get her name) that was also very detailed in making sure the images would turn out perfect. Dr. Chen came in and discussed things he saw from my images and spoke on what will need to be done for me to get my sexy smile back lol! Faron (I hope I spelled her name right) cleaned my teeth and had the most delicate touch while doing so. She asked if I was ok multiple times just to make sure I wasn't in any pain or experiencing discomfort. After my cleaning, Kristen spoke with me about my active treatment plan and payment options which I appreciate tremendously. My follow-up appointment to start my treatment plan AND follow-up cleaning were both scheduled before I could get up from the WONDERFUL massage chair. If you are terrified to go to the dentist, putting your dental hygiene in the hands of the wonder staff at Mint Dentistry at this location will ease all of your worries. AMAZING JOB EVERYONE and keep up the GREAT work!!! 12/26 Update: Soooooo, I went back to have an extraction done and of course my nerves had me on 1000! My Bp shot up like crazy 168./114. With it being as high as it was, the team was VERY concerned about doing the work, but they allowed me time to calm down and recommended me to see my pcp as soon as possible Now, for some, this may be a small things, but the sure care about my over all health shows that there are still good humans in this world. After 5-7 minutes Adriana came in and took my pressure again and it lowered a bit. Dr. Medina came in shortly thereafter and explained the procedure to me before beginning. The extraction took all of 20 minutes and guess what? I felt ZERO pain. Again, if you are ever in need of any work done you gotta come here. Thank you MINT dentistry for taking great care of me and helping me get my sexy back =-)"

"I had to change from my normal dentist I was going to for 5 years due to turning into “Out of Network” and I had to pay more. I’m glad I decided to go with Mint Dentistry. I had a wonderful experience. First the place feels very welcoming as in decor. Second they have free water, chapstick, mouth wash, toothbrushes (in bathroom if you are self conscious and want to brush before they see you). Thirdly the staff was very welcoming as well. The doctor has a plan to help with an issue that started from my previous dentist and is not pushy on getting expensive procedures done and is very understandable on costs especially with inflation going on. Not to mention the free teeth whitening I received, but they do state it is only for those with PPO dental insurance, so if you don’t have PPO then that’s why you won’t get it, in which finally I get something back for paying a higher premium. Over all I’m so happy I switched and actually look forward to my next dental visit for once."

"Omg!! I LOVE THE DENTIST NOW!! lol 😅😂 I typically don’t enjoy going to the dentist but reluctantly accompanied a loved one there. I’ve been dodging the dentist for over 4 years and somehow got talked into getting a cleaning by my loved one. Let’s just say I’m glad I got it. The dental 🦷 chair was a massage chair where I could select the heat feature, on the screen I had the option to play music I enjoyed or watch the news. The CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM THE INITIAL PHONE CALL TO SCHEDULE THE APPOINTMENT TO THE CARE I RECEIVED FROM ALL THE PERSONNEL WAS EXCELLENT!! Kadihja, April, Brittany and Dr. Yomi were simply PHENOMENAL. The communication and education was fantastic. I have never enjoyed dental care the way I did today, looking forward to my next cleaning. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this location. 🏆 Even the glasses they gave me were cool, I can even wear them with fashionable outfits."

"I’ve never loved going to the dentist and I’ve had quite a few bad experiences. Coming here has completely changed my perspective and feeling about the dentist. For the first time, I feel like my dentist legit cares about me and my teeth. I went in because a crown that was done someplace else fell out. They replaced it, did my cleaning and I just had my cavities filled. One thing that really stood out to me is that this was THE ONLY DOCTOR that asked me about my one tooth that was a different color than all the rest of my teeth. It’s been a different shade for 12-13 years because—well, never date your dentist. She fixed my smile in the best way possible."
