Prior to the actual procedure, we will help you settle into one of our comfortable treatment chairs. You will be invited to watch your favorite television shows or listen to your favorite songs with a pair of our Beats headphones. To begin, your teeth and gums with be cleaned and dried. Next, a member of the MINT dentistry team will use the laser to remove excess gum tissue until a more balanced gum line is revealed. The laser seals the tissue for minimal bleeding during the procedure. Once your gumline is the desired shape, your dentist will clean your mouth, so you can see your results. The entire procedure can typically be done during just one visit.
Treatment Aftercare
Following the reshaping procedure, we will give you aftercare instructions and your dentist may prescribe antibiotics if any signs of an infection were observed during the treatment.
